The PowerSharp Chainsaw Sharpener is an attachment that allows one to quickly sharpen the chain without having to remove it from the bar-mount or use a file. The complete kit, which includes chain, sharpener, sharpening stone, and guide bar, works as follows: (a) attach the bar-mount sharpener to the guide bar by sliding the steel pins through the guide holes then closing and latching the cover; (b) turn saw on and press the foot of the sharpener cover against a solid object, applying light pressure for about 5 seconds; (c) as the chain moves through the sharpener, its cutters contact the stone, which hones them to sharpness.
