Protecting an outdoor stack of firewood in windy and wet weather can be a challenge, especially for one with mobility and strength limitations. The hassle of keeping the cover on, whether via strapping, placing heavy items on top, or other securing methods, can be frustrating and often fruitless. One workable, inexpensive solution is Dustin Roger's Homemade Strapless Firewood Tarp: a long, narrow, heavy-duty tarpaulin with a sewed-on pocket every foot or so into which one slides a piece of firewood once it's laid atop the stack.
