Certain wheelchair lifts that are intended for use with full-size vans can work well as a Market Truck Platform Lift for loading produce (via dolly or cart) going to market. The one pictured here is a BraunAbility Millennium Series lift designed for side- or rear-door entrance into a van; in this case, it is mounted to the back of a box truck. It's hydraulic-powered (both the fold/unfold and up/down cycles), and operated by a standard or an optional hand-held remote. Ricon is another major manufacturer of wheelchair lifts for vans. Used lifts can sometimes be obtained for a fraction of the cost of new lifts.
