Harmar Wheelchair Hoist Lifts, housed in the cargo area of an SUV, pickup truck, or full-size van, are designed to allow one to load a manual wheelchair, power wheelchair, or scooter weighing up to 450 pounds. These lifts are designed so as to not (1) obstruct the vehicle's backup camera view, (2) add any extra inches to the rear, or (3) require a platform under the chair that would otherwise take up cargo space. They are operated via hand-held remote or optional wireless remote. (Numerous models are available, depending primarily on vehicle type and chair weight).
